Hello! My name is Nedermann Zsolt, and

this was a prototype i made at 2023 in Godot Engine.

The main goal was to achieve a 3D Bee Simulation game with complex & realistic managament, simulation system. + "free" -no grid object placement, building system (this was not achieved, just the no grid)

I just found this at my computer randomly today, and i thought "why didnt i uploaded this to itch.io then?" so i just decided to upload here.

To playing the game, you need enter a world name, hit start. You will start on your land, you have a hive, a honey extractor. You need to place em down, then if you click on the hive, you can buy bees. After, you had to know how to bee-keeping (lol), no tutorial included. Basically keep the bees alive.

You can press M go to shop and buy Frames, Hives, Hive boxes, Honey extruder, Winter foods.

You can use time management buttons i think if you press G. (left corner) Sorry for the overlay. But there is slow, normal, fast speed + stop button.

You can see world stats too (right corner). You can also click on the date button, to setup alerts, notifications. There are some auto notifications if i remember correctly.

Oh just tested, at least you COULD but you cant cause there is an error if you click on a day (with no highlight). Sorry, i dont remember why.

Still usable tho for important alerts, messages if you have one, you just cant set it for yourself.

You can see here the forecasts too. for weather / flowers.

Strategically its very important!

By pressing G again you can close this window and enter in the FPS "work/travel" mode.

If you press M, you can also use the time management / calendar functions. I dont remember that one, haha.

By hovering the mouse over SHOP and pressing the Travel button near the SHOP, you can go to shop.

You need to click on that brown square thing.

Oh i forgot about Bowl, Barrel, so yea, under the honey extractor you should put Bowl unless its extracting the honey to the ground. If your bowl fills up, you need to pour it in the barrel. Then you can sell the barrel.

By pressing M and hovering over your home land, travel home button reveals up. Then you can go home.

Oh you can by empty frames too.

So basically this is my "abandoned" prototype, if someone interested in beekeeping, actually the bee simulation worked well, but this was my first game developer learning project.

For setup:

Just download both file and hit the .exe file!

Your folder should look like this:

Libterrain was not used, but without it the character would stuck in the air. Strange. It was a great free to use plugin if i remember correctly you can found it in the Godot Plugins folder if anyone courious :) Hotkeys info is not available in the game, but here we are:

M - Map

G - Land view (on your land)

WASD - movement

Mouse - look

Mouse wheels - rotating ( for precise 45 angle, Q/E), if not in placement mode change focused toolbar.
